Continuing on my reread and you know what else I forgot? A) Cersei and Jaime are not just fucking when Bran sees them, but are talking some serious shit. Shit they could get executed just for saying. It does make trying to kill Bran a little more understandable even if it’s still pretty evil.

Also, it’s mentioned offhand that Robert hasn’t slept since Bran’s injury. He stayed up with Ned and Cat for four days watching over Bran! He gets a lot of shit for being not so great a guy, but he’s a loyal f*cking friend. I still have a bit of a soft spot for good king Robert
